Newsroom Web Part
This article and the accompanying video discuss the use of the Newsroom Web Part to display entries from the Statewide Newsroom Application on Oregon.gov web pages.
Notes
- Using the Newsroom Web Part is a page level activity that requires contribute access to the site being worked in.
- The Newsroom Web Part is configured to display items from the Oregon Statewide Newsroom Application only.
Many web parts are used to display data stored in lists in the local Site Collection. The Newsroom Application is a little different in that it looks outside of the local site collection to a specific location to get the information it displays. You do not need a list for news storeis in your site collection to use the Newsroom Web Part.
