Notes to apply to your agency
- Find the '001-Page Views : Descending by Views' exploration.
- Copy the exploration using the three dot menu on the right.
- Click on the name of the copy to open it.
Date range - The date range selected will not roll with time. If today the date range is selected as 'The last 7 days' then when you login next week, it will still be showing you the same seven days of metrics as when the range was selected. It will not automatically roll to the most recent 7 days. This is true for all date settings.
Hostname Filter - Add the filter in the Filters section if need be and set the filter to "begins with" and then enter the appropriate host name:
|
Page and Path plus query filter - The filter is used as shown to focus the exploration on your agency site collection. However, the filtered value can be added to so that the exploration focuses on a subsite, or even to an individual page.
For standard oregon.gov sites, narrow results to the agency by setting the filter to 'Begins with' and enter the agency acronym surrounded by slashes: /das/ or /odot/ etc. The slashes are important.
For host header sites, the filter is not required but can be used to narrow results according to your site paths. Just be sure to include the leading and trailing slashes before and after the subsite, directory or path. Click 'Apply' when the filters have been set. |
