Using images from the Statewide Image Library
Using images from the Statewide Image Library requires no special permission or access. The interface is public and requires no login.

Assumptions
Those interested in using the Statewide Image Library on Oregon.gov web pages should have some familiarity with editing pages with images and/or working with images in web parts. Other articles with videos detailing those subjects can be found in the Website V4x Template and features index in this knowledge base.

Notes
Note that all the images loaded to the Statewide Image Library will have all the various available versions. The possibilities are:
- Two file types; .jpg and .webp
- Four sizes; Large (lg), Medium (md), small (sm), Thumbnail (th)
- Four aspect ratios; Original (varies), 16x9, 4x3, 1x1
It is possible that an image may have one combination of these three attributes or all of them in the library. It can differ for each picture.
An artificial intelligence engine looks at the images and determines how to center and crop the image for each size and aspect ratio.
